I can hardly believe it! Just two more weeks till I fly to Singapore to participate in the 2013 Asian Festival of Children’s Content. It will be an opportunity of a lifetime. I will definitely take LOTS of pictures and keep a journal of my adventure so I can share with all of you when I get back.
I’m reblogging a fantastic post about it from Myra over at Gathering Books.
And I just found out that Erik, from This Kid Reviews Books, is going to be part of the event via Skype…congratulations, Erik…that is FANTASTIC!

It’s getting closer and closer and I am getting more and more excited…and a tad nervous.:) But I know it will be great, Catherine…there are some fantastic speakers and programs on the menu…I plan to attend quite a few of the presentations when I am not speaking. π

So true, Erik! I wish you were going also…I’d love a companion for the 24 hours of flight. I’ll find out what time your Skype will be and will try to attend that session. π Then I can say, “Hey, I know that amazing kid!”

I could hide in your suitcase! Oh, wait. That won’t work. They have X-Rays. Hmm… We fly to Chicago and I board the plane with you?
My Skype thing is at 5:30-6:30 PM (there) and 5:30-6:30 AM (here – Philly time π ) (I’ll be close to the end of it.) π

Glad you like it, Tracy! I think it is better than it was…more engaging and personal…but it still has a way to go…and I still need to add back all of the blog buttons of my friends. π It had just gotten too busy and distracting…kind of a jumble. The trip is just around the corner…tonight I will go through my closet and pick what I am taking…I like to travel light…but just found out that there are evening events every night to which I am invited…I had planned on taking only 1 dress…my daughter was horrified. π π So I guess I will see what else I have to add.
