[AFCC 2013] Asian Festival of Children’s Content 2013 – One Big Story!

I can hardly believe it! Just two more weeks till I fly to Singapore to participate in the 2013 Asian Festival of Children’s Content. It will be an opportunity of a lifetime. I will definitely take LOTS of pictures and keep a journal of my adventure so I can share with all of you when I get back.

I’m reblogging a fantastic post about it from Myra over at Gathering Books.

And I just found out that Erik, from This Kid Reviews Books, is going to be part of the event via Skype…congratulations, Erik…that is FANTASTIC!

    • It’s getting closer and closer and I am getting more and more excited…and a tad nervous.:) But I know it will be great, Catherine…there are some fantastic speakers and programs on the menu…I plan to attend quite a few of the presentations when I am not speaking. πŸ™‚

  1. You sure have traveled a bunch this spring:
    home -> chicago -> home -> singapore -> home -> chicago -> new hampshire -> home.

    Have a superb time, Vivian! Definitely take photos to share. And enjoy every minute!

    • Glad you like it, Tracy! I think it is better than it was…more engaging and personal…but it still has a way to go…and I still need to add back all of the blog buttons of my friends. πŸ™‚ It had just gotten too busy and distracting…kind of a jumble.The trip is just around the corner…tonight I will go through my closet and pick what I am taking…I like to travel light…but just found out that there are evening events every night to which I am invited…I had planned on taking only 1 dress…my daughter was horrified. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ So I guess I will see what else I have to add.
