Candace Spizzirri grew up in a small town in New Jersey with tree-lined streets and old Victorian houses. As a child, she spent hours playing at the park, catching minnows in a nearby stream, and exploring the woods at the end of her street. She now makes her home in Southern California where she loves spending time with her family.

Beverly Love Warren is the illustrator of My Child My Princess and Have You Seen Mouse, which she also authored. Having graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where she studied illustration, she now makes her home in Washington state where she lives with her husband. When she is not with brush and paint in hand, you can find her writing stories, hiking, at church, or enjoying time spent with her three children and six grandchildren.
