[Pre-AFCC Glitter] Meet Emily Lim

Blogging connects you to people all over the world!

In February 2012, I wrote a postfor Perfect Picture Book Friday and I included a link to a post done by Singaporean children’s author, Emily Lim-Leh. I was pleased when she responded by visiting my blog and commenting. Little did I know that this would be the start of a wonderful relationship.

This year, Emily is on the planning committee for the 2013 Asian Festival of Children’s Content…an international conference of writers, illustrators, publishers and creators of all types of children’s media. I was honored AND amazed when Emily invited me to participate.

I’ve already spotlighted one of Emily’s many wonderful picture books here for Perfect Picture Book Friday, but I wanted to share Dr. Myra Garces-Bacsal’s interview with her that just appeared on one of my favorite blogs which encourages kids to become lovers of books and reading, Gathering Books. I hope you will click on the link and read all about the upcoming event!
