You all know how passionate I am about helping children become lovers of books and reading.

As I journey along on this picture book writing path, I meet others who share the same mission.

Yesterday I visited the website of author AJ Irving and discovered a brilliant initiative to get books into the hands of kids who don’t have any. Yes, you read that right! There are plenty of kids, here in the good old USA, who grow up in homes without books. And we can help!
