This is a picture of my three-year old grandson, getting a haircut. He’s so grown-up…but the memory of walking up and down the hospital corridor with my daughter on the day he was born is as fresh in my mind as if it had happened yesterday.
Time passes so quickly. Please don’t waste it regretting the past or pinning your hopes on the future.
Today is here. Use it to the best of your ability. Do something you’ve been meaning to do for yourself. Reach out and help someone else. Pass along a smile. And, if you can, read to a child.
Absolutely – love your message. These little ones are thr future . . . So much potential if only we allow . . .

Thank you, Beth! I appreciate your stopping by and commenting. Many parents think they need to spend a lot of money on expensive gadgets and toys…when what kids want most is our time and attention. And why do so many parents pass along this golden opportunity to bond with and instill values in young children by letting the TV, video games, internet, etc. be the ones that influence?

I know…I was astonished at the laid back attitude he projected…most kids are so jittery when getting their hair cut…especially boys. 🙂
