Hi Marcia…how are you? Thank you so much for stopping by and I’m so glad you are excited for this book…I think many of us are fans of both Ella and Marilyn…I was, too…and that’s why I was so intrigued when I found the photo and read about what happened. And when I dug deeper, I knew I had to write the story.

Happy you loved the review and feel it is a compelling story. I hope that teachers and librarians will get on board…the universal truth of standing up for friends and for what is right is definitely waht we want to share with kids in grades K=6…and the book is written in a simple enough way that young kids will ‘get’ it.
